Our Story
Founded in 2014, Velostrata provides software solutions that give enterprises cloud workload mobility. Velostrata’s founders realized that many of the issues that kept enterprises from adopting public cloud for production workloads centered around the risk, cost, time, and complexity of migrating storage. So, they asked the fundamental question, “why not decouple compute from storage?” And so was born the only company that can move production workloads to and from the cloud in minutes, instead of months, without the risk.

Our Team
Velostrata’s founders, Issy Ben-Shaul (CEO) and Ady Degany (Chief Product Officer) have impressive careers leading technology innovation in the areas of optimization, intelligent streaming, caching, and storage. Issy was CTO and Co-Founder of Actona, a WAN optimization company acquired by Cisco in 2004. Issy later co-founded Wanova, a desktop virtualization company, acquired by VMware in 2012. Ady most recently led product management and marketing at StorSimple, a storage gateway company acquired by Microsoft in 2012. Prior to StorSimple, Ady was responsible for product strategy and direction at Wanova.
