Velostrata is ideal for enterprise workloads that have an input/output (I/O) profile where read activity is focused on an active working set, or hot data areas that shift slowly as data evolves. The system is also optimal for workloads that require high write burst capabilities at consistently low latency, which are common to database applications. Compute-intensive applications are also a good fit with larger compute instances and shared I/O in public clouds through scale-out batch jobs, burst tasks to shorten processes.
